Hello,
You guys might be interested in the attached patch (against the
pfsense-tools repository, master branch). We used to be able to specify a
PKGFILE in overlays, and build_iso.sh would pick that up. Unfortunately,
that's no longer possible, you can only install pfSense packages from
overlays.
The attached patch introduces a CUSTOM_PKGFILE variable that, if set, will
be considered a list of extra FreeBSD packages (not pfSense packages) that
should be shipped in the ISO as well.
Note that the attached patch only works for ISOs (and maybe memstick images,
but I didn't test that).
I'll be honest. I can't, unfortunately, "maintain" this patch as I'm no
longer actively working on pfSense. I'll understand if nobody is interested
in merging it.
