Edit /root/.tcshrc and at the bottom, add:

setenv PACKAGESITE
ftp://ftp-archive.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD-Archive/ports/`uname
-m`/packages-8.1-release/Latest/
export PACKAGESITE
