[pfSense] X86 to X64 Question

A few questions about moving to X64:

Does moving to X64 require a fresh install, or can it be done via the 
update firmware controls in the web gui by selecting the x64 repository 
and then doing an upgrade?


If it's possible to upgrade to X64 by using the gui's update firmware 
controls, does the installer check to make sure the hardware will 
support the X64 upgrade before actually attempting the upgrade?


Is the package list the same for both X86 and X64?


Does everything on X64 work the same as X86?  That is, are there things 
not yet implemented in X64 that are implemented in X86?
