If you have any domains hosted with Namecheap, as many of us do, you can
use them as a dyndns provider and use ddns names on your own domain
instead of whatever domains the free ddns provider supplies.

It works quite well for me.

The only other one I've used personally was dyndns.org but that isn't
really feasible for many people these days.
